Educational Objectives
This major is set to foster high-quality professionals, who have a systematic mastery of the theoretical basis of visual communication design and a modern design thinking ability, master the expertise, basic methods and skills of visual communication design and creation, develop an awareness of innovation and certain creative capabilities, have a broad vision of Chinese and foreign cultures and a solid basic knowledge of art and design, adapt to social needs, and are able to use modern design language and methods to carry out visual communication design.

Graduates may be engaged in related design work in advertising companies, planning companies, graphic design companies, publishing industry, corporate publicity planning departments, cultural and creative product design and development companies and other fields requiring graphic and new media design.
