Educational Objectives:
This major aims to cultivate high-quality applied senior technical personnel, who adapt to the needs of social and economic development, establish an all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding, possess basic theoretical knowledge and basic experimental skills in chemistry, biology and pharmacy, and are able to engage in the research, development, process design, production technology improvement, and quality control of products related to pharmaceutical raw materials, pharmaceutical preparations, and preparation technology, as well as in pharmaceutical enterprise management and pharmaceutical market development.

Job Orientation:
This major belongs to medical pharmacy, which has a large social demand and a wide range of career opportunities. After graduation, students may work in the research, development, process design, production technology improvement, quality control, operations management and market development of pharmaceutical products in hospital pharmacy departments, drug inspection institutes, pharmaceutical scientific research or production organizations; or technology development, production management, marketing and scientific research in the fields of food, light industry, chemical industry and agriculture relevant to pharmaceutical preparation technology.
