Educational Objectives

This major is a first-class major in Hubei Province (2021), a core major of the key discipline of business administration in colleges and universities of Hubei Province, a key training major for independent colleges in Hubei Province, and a six-star major rated by Cuaa.Net, and was awarded a key teaching team in Hubei Province (2021). For this major, the Hubei Provincial Youth Entrepreneurship Incubator Key Project base sponsored by the Hubei Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, and the Hubei Provincial Research Center for Technological Innovation and High-Quality Development were established in 2012 and 2016 respectively. The school was approved as an "industry-university cooperation and collaborative education program” organization of the Ministry of Education" in 2018. It cooperated with Wuhan University Press to build a teaching resource-related cloud platform for "college students' entrepreneurship management practice" in 2018. The school received the title of key school-level business administration teaching team in 2019, and was approved to own a key school-level business administration major and establish a “1+X” pilot certificate program initiated by the Ministry of Education in 2020.

This major is dedicated to training high-quality practical management talents with an overall development in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects, who are equipped with comprehensive knowledge and capabilities in modern management and economics, especially those in enterprise information management and innovation and entrepreneurship, are well-grounded, knowledgeable, well-rounded and creative, and are in a position to engage in management work in various state-owned and non-state-owned enterprises and public institutions.
