Objective: Standing at the forefront of the intelligent development of media, based on the knowledge of humanities and social sciences, driven by intelligent media technologies, and centered on the production skills of news content, we cultivate compound talent of media convergence exceling in speaking, writing, planning, shooting and designing.

Advantages and characteristics: As a first-class undergraduate major construction project in Hubei Province, this major is a key characteristic major of Wenhua College, the first journalism major in Hubei Province to set up the program of intelligent media communication, and the first characteristic major in Hubei Province to fully implement the education of media convergence. This major has a group of doctoral supervisors, master’s supervisors and “double-position” teachers represented by Lu Hanrong, famous AI expert of China and Shen Fan, famous news communication expert of China.
