Training objectives: This program focuses on the moral, intellectual, physical, and esthetic development of the students and equips them with professional ethics and humanistic qualities, the basic knowledge of building engineering drawings, building structures, building mechanics and structures, the ability in building construction, quality supervision, and safety management, and the capability of working as a technician or manager for building construction.

Characteristics advantages: Opened in 2004 and relying on the program of civil engineering, this program boasts high-quality teachers and advanced teaching and experimental facilities. This aims to produce high-quality and skilled technical personnel; implements the system of “academic certificate + multiple vocational certificates” (hereinafter referred to as 1 + X certificates) system; focuses on the cultivation of practical and vocational skills based on vocational needs; integrates the advantageous resources by connecting with the undergraduate programs related to civil engineering and provides the students with flexible programs for personal development; and builds the advantageous discipline of “intelligent construction” and introduces BIM into teaching.

Main courses: Building Architecture, Concrete Structures, Soil Mechanics and Foundations, Engineering Surveys, Steel Structures, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Organization, Construction Engineering Measurement and Pricing, Application of BIM Software, etc.

Employment prospects: To work as a supervisor, designer, manager, or consultant for construction technology and organization, quality, progress, safety, and data management for a construction enterprise; or move on to an undergraduate program of our college or any other university or college by passing relevant examinations.
