Undergraduate Duration: 4 years
Objective: The program aims to train senior engineering technology talents that master modern control theory and technology, IoT technology and AI technology, have the capabilities of modern control system information acquisition and processing, and can design and apply IoT and control systems in the automation field.
Advantages and features: The program has two features: "IoT application and development technology" and "controller research and application". We have valued curriculum structure optimization and laboratory construction, and established 6 professional laboratories and 6 on & off-campus practice bases. We have laid special emphasis on the development of students' practical and innovative abilities. Our students have achieved brilliant results in various discipline competitions, including the first prize in "National University Students' Opt-Sci-Tech Competition" and "Lan Qiao Competition", and the grand prize in "I Love Control" China Automation Grand Prix. Around 15% of our students are enrolled by "Project 985" and "Project 211" universities for master programs annually.
Main courses: Control Theory, Power Electronics Technology, Process Control System, Programmable Logic Controller, Motion Control System, Wireless Sensor Network Technology, Fundamentals of IoT.
Job orientation: Our graduates can work on process control, system decision making and planning, as well as IoT and automatic control system design, application and maintenance at enterprises and public institutions.
