Educational Objectives

This major is mainly oriented to foreign trade, administrative management, and production areas. It is aimed at training high-quality technical personnel who stand firm in ideal and conviction and political stand, value the development of both morality and technology, skillfully use Korean language, have a good professional ethics, acquire the knowledge of business and foreign trade, connect to the job groups engaged in secretarial work in Korean companies, international trade, cross-border e-commerce, Korean language training and others, and get ready to work in document translation, foreign trade business, cross-border e-commerce operations, and foreign-related customer service, among others.

Fundamental Courses

Comprehensive Korean, Korean Listening, Korean Conversation, Business Korean, Korean Viewing, Listening and Speaking, and Cross-Border E-Commerce, etc.

Job Prospects

Among the colleges and universities in Hubei Province, our school was the first to offer the Applied Korean major. Since its establishment more than ten years ago, it has established school-enterprise partnerships with many excellent companies, and signed study abroad program agreements with a number of Korean colleges and universities. The employment rate of students in this major is as high as 95%. After graduation, students are mainly engaged in foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce, Korean language teaching, tourism, translation, student visa services and other jobs. Many of them have even gone abroad to study in South Korea.
