Educational Objectives


This major is mainly oriented to foreign trade and administrative management areas. It aims to foster high-quality technical personnel who are firmly grounded in ideal and political conviction, develop morality and technology, are proficient in the application of Japanese language, are armed with a good professional ethics and humanistic quality, acquire the knowledge and technical skills such as the basic theories and processes of international business, connect to the job groups concerning international trade, cross-border e-commerce, and foreign-related hotels, and are on track to go in for international marketing, cross-border e-commerce operations, business document preparation, foreign-related customer service, among others.


Fundamental Courses


Comprehensive Japanese, Japanese Conversation, Japanese Listening, Business Japanese, International Trade Theory and Practice, Japanese Business Etiquette, and Cross-Border E-Commerce Practice, etc.


Job Prospects


This major is highly influential among those of the same kind in higher vocational colleges in Central China. Our students have won many highest-level awards of authoritative competitions, such as the first prize of the National Higher Vocational College Japanese Skills Competition, and the most honorable mention of the "Kake Educational Institution Cup" Japanese Speech Contest. The Faculty establishes long-term partnerships with a number of Japanese universities such as Kyoto International University Academy and Jumonji University, and recommends students to further study in Japan every year. With a high employment rate and success in a top-up bachelor’s degree program, graduates are mainly engaged in Japan-related e-commerce, international trade, education and training, translation, tour guides and other work.
