Educational Objectives

This major aims to cultivate senior applied technical personnel, who acquire the professional theoretical knowledge of systematic environmental art design thinking ability, design methods and procedures, materials and craftsmanship, master the theory and expertise of interior design, and are able to engage in interior decoration, interior furnishings, furniture design, exhibition design, technology and management.

Fundamental Courses

Auto CAD Drawing, Computer-Aided Design (Photoshop, 3D Max, etc.), Residential Space Design, Commercial Space Design, Office Space Design, Display Design, Furniture and Furnishings, Rendering Techniques, Building Decoration Construction, Building Decoration Materials, Ergonomics , and Project Estimate and Budget, etc.

Job Prospects

After graduation, students of this major are mainly engaged in: 1. architecture interior and exterior decoration engineering design; 2. modern decoration art design; 3. furniture design, architectural design and others; 4. technology and management work in decoration design companies.
