Educational Objectives:

This major aims to cultivate high-quality skilled talents, who adapt to the needs of social and economic development, pursue an overall development in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects, and develop strong practical work ability and capacity for sustainable development in nursing.

Fundamental Courses:

Human Structure and Function, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Fundamentals of Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, and Pediatric Nursing.

Job Orientation:

Thanks to a large social demand, nursing graduates boast a wide range of career opportunities and a promising employment situation. After graduation, students may join hospitals and medical institutions at all levels to work on human health care, including serving as professional clinical nurses, community health educators, rehabilitation center nurses, and others. Every year, a group of graduates of our Faculty directly work in hospitals after their internships. At the same time, our Faculty has signed an order-based talent training agreement with the Third People's Hospital of Hubei Province (Zhongshan Hospital of Hubei Province) to ensure students’ employment.
