This major aims to train high-level versatile talents who have a solid foundation in modern automotive technology, provide technical support for automotive engineering, establish modern automotive service concepts and professional qualities, master the basic theories in automotive technology, automotive application, automotive services and other fields, receive basic training in modern mechanical engineering, expand the basic capabilities of the design and manufacture of machinery and vehicle products as well as equipment control, production organization and management, and are well positioned to engage in product design and development, manufacturing, testing and detection, and application research related to vehicle engineering, as well as automotive technical services and automotive trade in the field of automotive applications.

Job Prospects
Graduates may be engaged in the design and development of automotive vehicles and parts, body and styling design, automotive electronic technology applications, vehicle performance testing and experimental research, production management and other technical work; or vehicle management in automotive testing and maintenance, auto insurance and evaluation, automobile transportation, logistics operations and other fields.
