Educational Objectives


This major is a key cultivation discipline across independent colleges in Hubei Province. It aims to train high-quality applied professionals who have a systematic mastery of solid professional theoretical knowledge in accounting, auditing and financial management, develop professional operating skills in financial accounting, internal and external auditing, tax planning and corporate finance, and are equipped to work on accounting, auditing and financial management in industrial and commercial enterprises, accounting firms, public institutions and government sectors.


Fundamental Courses


(1) Professional theoretical courses: Principles of Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, Economic Law, Tax Law, Fundamentals of Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Financial Analysis, and Industry-Finance Integration Information System, etc.


(2) Professional training courses: Financial Accounting Training, Cost Accounting Training, Industry-Finance Integration Information System Training, Corporate Financial Virtual Practice, and (school-enterprise cooperation post) Graduation Practice, etc.


Job Prospects

With the continuous expansion of China's economy and the total volume of enterprises, the market demand for financial and accounting personnel at all levels continues to increase. The major opportunities for graduates of this major to be employed are as follows: (1) accounting practices such as cashiers, financial accounting, fund management, and accounting audits in various enterprises, public institutions and government agencies; (2) accounting consulting and auditing in accounting firms; (3) continuing to study for master's and doctoral degrees in universities at home and abroad based on the existing major; becoming certified public accountants through study while working and then senior accounting professionals.
