Training objectives: This program prepares the students to work as a cost engineer or budgeter by equipping them with the basic and professional knowledge and skills of intelligent construction, BIM, building construction technology, and construction cost estimating and control and the practical ability to engage in engineering evaluation, BIM consulting, construction project evaluation, construction project settlement and auditing, and construction project management.
Characteristic advantages: This program features a team of full-time and part-time teachers, all of whom boast high theoretical levels and abundant practical experience. Among the teachers, there are 2 professors and 6 associate professors; 2 senior engineers, 3 registered cost engineers and constructors. All the full-time teachers hold master’s degrees or above. In addition to the theoretical courses, there are also a large number of practical training courses. The “double certificate” training mode, which means “graduation certificate” plus “1 + X vocational certificates.” During the three-year study period, the student can also participate in the training and examination for relevant skill certificates in order to meet employers’ requirements for professional skills and knowledge levels.

Employment prospects: To engage in construction and cost budgeting for a construction or installation enterprise; engage in BIM engineering consulting, bidding, project analysis and evaluation, or project settlement and auditing for a design institute or an engineering consulting firm; or move on to an undergraduate program of our college or any other university by passing relevant examinations.
