Objective: The program aims to train application-oriented senior engineering technology talents that master basic theories of modern communication, AI, computers, 5G and other technologies, have professional expertise and skills, and can work on system and intelligent terminal design, manufacturing, integration, operation & maintenance and management in the fields of AI, communication and information.

Advantages and features: The program is a national and provincial first-class undergraduate program point. Included in "Jingchu Outstanding Engineer" Program and Hubei's "Talent Training Program for Strategic Emerging (Pillar) Industries", it has three features: "mobile Internet terminal technology and application", "AI technology application and development" and "5G technology application and development". We have established 18 laboratories, as well as a number of training, innovation and entrepreneurship bases in collaboration with renowned enterprises like ZTE, Chinasoft International and FiberHome. We have a first-time employment rate of 95%, and around 20% of our graduates take graduate programs or go abroad for further studies annually on average.

Main courses: Principle of Communication, Signals and Systems, Information Theory and Coding, Theory of Circuit, Embedded System Design, Artificial Intelligence Technology, 5G Technology Application.

Job orientation: Our graduates can work on mobile communication, IoT engineering, wireless remote sensing and telemetry, and intelligent network design, application and maintenance at mobile communication operators, equipment manufacturers, Internet technology companies and communication technology departments.
