In order to promote the deepening and institutionalization of personalized education, on March 25, 2021, Wenhua College held an academic seminar on "Personalized Education and School Development". Teachers and researchers from nearly 20 universities, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei University of Technology, Southwest University of Finance and Economics, Henan University of Science and Technology, Henan University of Economics and Law, Chongqing Medical University, Yanjiang College and Minnan Medical College, participated in the seminar. The seminar was attended by Liu Xianjun, President of Wenhua College, and Cheng Hong, Vice-Chancellor.
Cheng Hong first focused on the theme of "personalized education and school development", systematically introduced the concept of personalized education of Wenhua College, the stage of development, the education system, the results achieved, as well as the role of promoting the development of schools, providing reference for the theme discussion.
The participants expressed their views, inspired exchanges and expounded some insightful views on the endogenous development of students in personalized education, the needs of students, the concept of value, the whole staff, the process evaluation, curriculum education and how to promote the development of schools.
President Liu Xianjun made a concluding speech, he first said that the views expressed by the delegates will have a positive impact on the deepening and institutionalization of personalized education at Wenhua College. He said that schools adhere to the socialist direction of running schools, abide by the policies and regulations of the state, run schools in accordance with the basic laws of education, personnel training and conditions for running schools strive to meet national standards. At the same time, in the subject of majors, schools, school culture, the formation of their own characteristics. In particular, the Chinese Academy in line with the principle of "common survival, characteristic development", unswervingly carry out personalized education, effectively promote the growth of students, teacher development, promote teaching reform and scientific and technological innovation, improve the reputation of the school, and thus effectively promote the development of the school. The development of the school has also created the conditions for the individual development of teachers and students.
